The trio music group, Nobles, started out in 2013 in a small community called Nemakunku where everything started from the love to the huge support, it was then called Street Hustlers in 2011 with large number of youths, migration decimated them but that has never stop them from moving on.
Today Nobles, is a familiar name because of Aya, Young Pable and T-Berry. Despite starting from unleveled ground with the teething problems of every musician, their people were able to help them breakthrough the music scene. The trio Afropop stars started singing and raping in their local languages (doing multi-ethnic composition), because of that they won the hearts of everyone from Nemaykunku and beyond.
Been part of the rebirth generation of Gambian music, they were loved by many young folks. The Nobles made their first public appearance in 2015, from that inception, things were never been the same for them.
The love and support was getting huge, in 2017, Nobles did they first debut concert and it was called Fill Up Jakarlo, which attracted lot people from Nemaykunku and beyond. After that concert, they vowed to do more series of FILL UP, in 2018 Nobles storm the whole industry with one of the biggest show in a rare venue (Penchami Hall) for Gambian music which was impossible for many local artist.
After the Penchami FILL UP, Nobles continues to grow and headlining almost every big concert with hot danceable songs like ‘komkom’ and ‘mosanam’. Aya, Young Pable and T-Berry’s first appearance outside Gambia was in Guinea Bissau at the invitation of Justice Dud, their performance caught the eye 60, 000 people. The naming of pretty bajuda meaning pretty girl was inspired by their Bissau exploits.
After the bit silent and long waiting of the famous fill up episode, the Nobles returned from tour outside Gambia in countries like Senegal, Nigeria and Guinea Bissau. They said the tour was aimed to explore their talents and advertise Gambian music to the world and establish some international connection.
In their last press conference, the manager of the trio music group said in the whole of 2019 the boys played only one show because they are on rebranding process and building image outside Gambia.
Many Gambian musician lost site when they hardly appeared on stage, nobles was in similar situation announcing another FILL UP at Qcity and going through rebranding process which partly involve the construction of their music. Pretty Bajuda attracted 1milion views on YouTube, the exposure outside was successful but the FILL UP QCITY was uncertain to many.
Tonight was supposed to be the FILL UP at Qcity before the postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, were you ready to fill up Qcity tonight? What was your plan to it?
