JIZZLE DONATES FOOD ITEMS TO MILE II INMATES

Top Gambian musicians, Jizzle on Wednesday donates food items to the mile 2 central prisons.


The Bakau born star donated items were ten bags of 50 kg sugar, rice, ten 5 litres of oil and a bag of Irish potato.


According him, giving back to the people is never a bad idea none the less they are people who support him in his musical journey.


"What I got from the music is because of the support of the people, so giving back to the people is never a bad idea," he said.


He added to extend his hand to other more sectors "to make Gambia a better place for all."


However the prison is normally associated with people crimes but discarding this believe, the artist manager Abu BUSSO said 'being in prison doesn't mean you are bad" rather circumstances is what lead you in there.


The operation commander of the Mile II Central Prisons welcomed the gesture and urge everyone to hold onto rehabilitating prisoners in society without stigmatizing or marginalizing them.


Jizzle two years ago, donated similar to the prisons with Lang Tombong Tamba as an ambassador for the charity foundation.
